Striker Ben Tomlinson has been transferred from Alfreton Town to Conference Premier Division rivals Lincoln City for an undisclosed four-figure fee.
Tomlinson, 23, joined the Reds two days before the start of the 2012/13 season on a two-year deal from Macclesfield Town.
He made 46 appearances for Alfreton last season, 13 of which were from the bench. He netted 14 goals for the Reds in total, nine in the league.
Meanwhile, Alfreton Town’s latest two pre-season games have seen them lose 1-0 at home to a Sheffield United XI on Monday after drawing 2-2 at Matlock Town on Friday.
Alfreton’s scorers against Matlock were Paul Clayton and Ben Tomlinson.
Alfreton then continued their pre-season preparations with a hard-working display in a 1-0 home defeat against a slick Sheffield United side, watched by a crowd of 406.
Alfreton are back in action on Saturday at home to League One side Port Vale. Kick-off is 3pm.
Alfreton Town Community Development Scheme is staging another of its holiday football coaching courses at Alfreton Leisure Centre.
The course costs £5 per session, which will be held on Monday, July 29; Friday, August 2; Monday, August 5; Friday, August 9; Monday, August 12; Friday, August 16; Monday, August 19 and Friday, August 23 and runs from 9am to 12noon each day.
Boys and girls aged 6- 14 are eligible and will be required to wear sports clothing, suitable footwear and take a drink to each session.
