Ripley Rangers Under 14s were in action at the weekend, away to Darley Dale.
The game was a hard-fought Rowsley League Primary Cup game and Rangers won the match 1-0 following a great volley by Danny Bain.

Ripley went a goal behind but upped their game and drew level from a free kick by Thomas Rankin.
They searched for a second goal but it was Clipstone who scored next.
Ripley pushed for the eaqualiser and got their reward just before half time with Thomas Rankin scoring his second.
Ripley took the lead with a goal from Ciaran Gillespie but Clipstone fought back and equalised.
Ripley had several shots saved or blocked by the Clipstone defence.
Clipstone themselves also had several good chances but were denied by some good goalkeeping. Ripley scored a fourth goal via another well taken free kick by Thomas Rankin but Clipstone were not finished and managed to score an equaliser in the last minutes of the game.
