A hectic close season has come to an end for Clay Cross Town FC.

After the search for a new manager, the change of name from Parkhouse FC and the sponsorship drive, which resulted in two kit sponsors in T Nutt and Sons and PCS.

Added to this there was the media attention on the new ground name ‘The Devil Made Me Do It Tattoo Studio Ground’.

So the season 2012/2013 kicks off with new manager Asa Ingall having a busy start at Mill Lane with three home games in the first week,

The season starts with a home game on Saturday, August 11 when Doncaster-based Bentley Colliery are the visitors (3m).

Tuesday, August 14 a local derby with Glapwell (6.45pm) before Kiveton Park are the visitors on Saturday, August 18.

Th new season will see a team bearing the name Clay Cross Town for the first time since 1924.

Admission this season will be just £3 which comes with a free, award winning, match day programme.
