Heanor Town FC Reserves will be in the hands of four people for the 2012/2013 season.
David Barber will manage the team which will comprise many of last season’s former Heanor Juniors Under-16 team.
It is understood they are local lads and are looking forward to the challenge.
David, son of a former Heanor Town Secretary from the 1960’s, John Barber, will be joined by Adam Bamford in the role of assistant manager, Carl Storer and Phillip Moss.
Between them they will not only run the reserve side, but will hope to take up the mandate to bring local young players through to first team football with gusto.
With the formation of what looks likely to be a strong Supporters’ Club and positive influence within the reserve team, the club look to be in a much stronger position to start next season.
Strength on the pitch needs to be matched by strength off it and club secretary Keith Costello has expressed the need to add one or two new bodies onto the football club committee.
Heanor Town Reserves will once again be competing in the Central Midlands Football League Glenwood Printing Reserve Supreme Division.
