FC Heanor showed why they are favourites to win the double after an excellent hat-trick from lone striker Stephen Guilor in a 6-0 victory over Blessington.
Fresh from their league cup final victory, FC Heanor continued their bid for the Derby Taverners Sunday Football League Intermediate Division Two title.
Guilor scored three times in the first half, much to the annoyance of the Blessington back four, who could not handle his pace.
Carl Robshaw then scored from a mazy run from defence to make it 4-0 before the break.
Manager Nick Milne then gave Stephen Guilor a rest and threw on top goalscorer Jay West, who he had decided to save for the second half.
However, the two other goals in the second half came from another other outfield player, Ashley Hargreaves from a piledriver from the right and trickery from the in-form Rhys Stokes.
Overall, it was an excellent team performance. FC Heanor now only need one point from their last two games to be crowned champions and Stephen Guilor was rightly crowned as man on the match.
