Youngsters from Ripley Rangers Football Club enjoyed a great day out at Pride Park Stadium recently.
Various players were match day mascots and flag bearers for the Championship game between Derby County and Leeds United.
The day involved a parade around the pitch and then photos were taken with with Rams player Craig Bryson before the flag bearers took up their positions on the pitch.
The mascots went down the tunnel to prepare to walk out onto the pitch alongside the players.
The players and mascots then walked out onto the pitch in-between the flag bearers, who were waving their flags, and then they shook hands with all of the players and officials.
Everyone then took their seats and watched a great game where The Rams beat Leeds for the eighth successive game, winning the match against Neil Warnock’s side 3-1.
Ripley Rangers would like to thank Lloyd Stanway and everyone else at Derby County for a what proved to be great day out with a great result to round off the proceedings.
See page 35 for details of how Ripley Rangers under 18s and under 13s got on at the weekend.
