DERBY Rolls Royce Leisure won the Derbyshire County FA Divisional Cup South with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Mickleover RBL.
The goals came from Matt Savage who hit a brace, Matt Martn and Kieron Lynch.
RBL’s Reserve team were also involved in the week’s other cup final, the Junior Cup, but they too met with a 4-0 defeat, this time against Allestree.
Midweek league action saw both of the bottom two in the Premier Division pick up a point away from home.
Sandiacre drew 2-2 at Chellaston while Ashover drew 1-1 at Wirksworth Town, for whom whom it was a first draw in 26 matches, Carl Moore on target for them.
Saints drew again on Saturday, 1-1 with Matlock Sports.
League leaders Allenton United won 2-0 at Newmount but then lost 2-1 to Swanwick Pentrich Road, Andy Waghorn and Steve Huntingdon both scoring for Swanwick.
Newmount’s next match saw them lose 5-0 to Derby Royals, the winners coming to this match fresh from a 2-0 win over Cromford.
Melbourne Dynamo moved into second place thanks to 4-1 win over Chellsaton.
Tim Baker and Dan Widdowson both scored for Rowsley ‘86 as they beat Mickleover RBL 2-1.
Allestree stayed clear at the top of Division One by winning 4-0 playing Little Eaton with goals from Dan Sharp,Dan Thornhill, Aaron Cruttwell and an own goal.
In midweek, Little Eaton lost 4-2 to Derby Singh Brothers.
Punjab United continue to press after a 5-1 win over Derbyshire Amateurs who had earlier been involved in a 4-4 draw with Ripley Town. .
On Saturday, Ripley were involved in a third successive draw, this time 4-4 at Pastures.
In midweek, Pastures lost 4-2 to Derby Rolls Royce Leisure Reserves. Royces then lost 2-1 to Tibshelf on Saturday.
Holbrook St Michaels Reserves drew 0-0 with Derby Singh Brothers.
Tibshelf having played out a goalless draw with Swanwick Pentrich Road Reserves in the week.

At the top of Division Two, Mackworth St Francis with goals from Peter Bowler and Aaron Wightman beat Allenton United Reserves 2-1 to throw the title chase wide open.
Melbourne Dynamo Reserves could only draw 1-1 at Chellaston Reserves.
Those results and two wins for Wirksworth Ivanhoe enabled them to come into the equation. First the Ivanhoe beat Chellaston Reserves 7-0 with goals from Ben Marsh (3), Vince Kinder, Jack Higton,Craig Spencer and an own goal, and then they won 2-0 at Derby Royal Reserves, Dan Smith and Liam Murphy scoring.
Craig Tipton and Jodie Waldron scored the Ambergate goals as they beat Bargate Rovers Reserves 2-1 while Roe Farm still search for their first
win of the season, having lost 2-0 to Little Eaton Reserves.Jamie Astley scored both the Eaton goals.
Newton won 4-1 against Pastures Reserves.
The fourth draw of the day involved Punjab United Reserves and Hilton Harriers and finished 1-1.
