South Normanton Colts u15s are celebrating again this season after clinching the Derby City League Division 1 title.

This follows their success in winning the Division 2 title last year. They needed to win the last match of the season against old foes Wirksworth.

Nerves held and the final score was 5-0. The Colts won the league by one point.

Manager Lee Albrighton, who has coached the boys for the last ten years said: “It is an amazing achievement to win back to back titles. The players deserve huge credit for their efforts. We would also like to thank Glendair Dental Practice and South Normanton Parish Council, who have supported us over the years and are very much part of the team’s success.”
