Charity game at Chesterfield

FOOTBALL fans can get one final live fix of the beautiful game before the European Championships start when Chesterfield’s b2net stadium is the venue for a charity match being staged on Sunday, May 27,

Phil and Jamie Walker’s Chesterfield FC Legends and guests, managed by John Duncan and Kevin Randall will be taking on an M1 Charity team of players from TV land including Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Hollyoaks, Waterloo Road, The Bill, Big Brother and Shameless to name but a few.

The Chesterfield side will include appearances from past and recent stars Jamie Hewitt, Andy Morris, Ernie Moss, Andy Kowalski, Chris Marples, Sean O’Neill, Bob Newton, Dave Caldwell, Shane Nicholson, Paul Holland and others.

The sides will be competing for the Jamie Walker Radio Maunside Fundraising Trophy.

Admission

The game kick’s off at 3pm and tickets are priced at £5 for adults (18+), £3 for children and seniors (60+). There is also a family ticket, max two adults and two children, for £12.

There will also be face painting, a raffle, auction and refreshments available on the day.

Monies raised will go to the Once Upon a Smile charity, the Lymphoma Association and the Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust.
