Alfreton Town home to big spending Fleetwood Town

ALFRETON Town return to the Impact Arena on Tuesday evening when they take on second-placed Fleetwood Town in Blue Square Premier Division action.

Reds boss Nicky Law will be looking for a far better display than his side turned in last Saturday when they fell 3-0 at Cambridge United.

On-loan striker James Ellison is available again after completing a three-game suspension.

Two players will miss the fixture through injury, defender Matt Wilson is still recovering from ankle ligament damage and striker Nathan Arnold is now just a fortnight away after breaking his left foot eight weeks ago.

The last time the sides met was in the Blue Square Bet North Play-Off final back in early May 2010 when the Reds narrowly lost out 2-1.

Fleetwood followed up to claim a play-off place last season in their first ever campaign in the Blue Square Bet Premier Division and they are one of the most fancied sides for promotion, either automatic, or via the play-offs this season after another summer of heavy investment in players.

Kick-off is 7.45pm.
