Alfreton looking for a first home win of the season

ALFRETON Town go into Tuesday night’s Blue Square Bet Premier Division home game with Barrow looking for a first home win at the fifth attempt.

Manager Nicky Law has no new injury worries but does have defender Leigh Franks suspended for one game after he accrued his fifth caution of the season during last Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at Kidderminster Harriers.

Barrow arrive in eleventh place in the table after a solid start to the campaign. They have won four of their nine games but have also lost four with two of them on the road at Southport (2-1) and York City (3-1).

The Bluebirds come into the game on the back of a 3-2 home defeat by in-form Mansfield Town last Saturday.

Kick-off at the Impact Arena is 7.45pm.
