WOOLLEY Moor United became the first team to go into double figures this season when they beat Mickleover RBL Reserves 10-0 in division one.
Brett Turner led the scoring with four goals with the others coming from Brett Hardy (2), Dean Cropper (2), Miles O’Mealy and an own goal.
There were plenty of goals in the Premier Division as well with Allenton United leading the way by beating Chellaston 7-0.
Michael Tristram and Dave Carr both scored a brace in the win with Erroll Johnson, Ryan O’Connor and Danny O’Connell also contributing.
Cromford won 5-1 at Mickleover RBL, Nick Shardlow scoring for the Legion, while Rowsley also scored five in winning 5-2 at Newmount.
The home side managed two through Richard Perry and Josh Lord and actually led 2-0 before an own goal and a penalty turned the course of the game.
Willington also held a nap-hand as they beat Matlock Sports 5-2 with goals from Brett O’Donnell, Danny Slovinski, Bellmore, Mick Fitzhugh and Oliver Brockley.
Ashover went down 3-0 at home to Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure while Swanwick Pentrich Road went down by the odd-goal-of-seven at home to Derby Royals.
An own goal and two Mark Brewster penalties made up the Swanwick scoring.
Holbrook St Michaels secured a home win as they beat Sandiacre Town 3-1 with goals from Brett Adul (2) and John Pearce.
No-one else was able to match Woolley Moor’s scoring feats in division one, although Allestree, who beat them 2-1 in midweek, defeated Derbyshire Amateurs 5-0, Spence (2), Shearer, Gibson and Bills banging in the goals.
Bargate Rovers played out a 2-2 draw with Findern. It was a scoreline matched by their Reserves at Roe Farm in division two, Paul Robinson and Nick Dunn netting the Bargate first team goals.
Martin Savage scored the only goal of the game as Derby Rolls-Royce Leisure Reserves beat Ripley Town 1-0.
Derby Singh Brothers had two scorers in Leon Shaw and Khalque Shafique as they lost 4-2 to Rowsley ‘86 Reserves.
In division two, Mackworth St Francis beat Ambergate 1-0 thanks to an Aaron Wightman strike.
On the other side of the coin, Chellaston Reserves won 8-1 at Derby Royals Reserves, James Smith scoring for Royals.
Ben Sanderman scored for Hilton Harriers as they lost 6-1 to Newton for whom Lewis Bramley hit a hat-trick. Phil Liddell hit a brace and Anthony Hurt were also on target for the victors.
Andy Holmes was the scorer for Wirksworth Town Reserves in a 2-1 defeat against Melbourne Dynamo Reserves.
Farrell Scott and Jack Havlon supplied the Dynamo goals.
The first cup game of the season, a first round Challenge Cup tie, went to penalties before Wirksworth Ivanhoe won 4-2 on penalties against visitors Punjab United Reserves.
The game had finished 1-1 at the end of normal time with Jacob Gunton scoring for Ivanhoe.
Friday night was not good for Pastures as their first team lost 2-1 to Little Eaton and their Reserves were beaten 7-1 by Allenton United Reserves.
