East Midlands commercial property agency Innes England has become the latest local business to become a proud sponsor of Cricket Derbyshire.

The company, with offices in Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, is involved in managing sales, lettings, investments, disposals and acquisitions of all commercial property including office, retail and industrial. It has become the 73rd company to join the 1870 Business Club in its inaugural year.

By sponsoring Cricket Derbyshire, Innes England will support community cricket coaching and cricket development in North West Derbyshire.

Innes England is a big supporter of sport across the region and has recently advised on property transactions involving a number of sporting institutions.

Derbyshire CCC chief executive Simon Storey said: “It is a great boost that we are continuing to attract high-calibre businesses such as Innes England.

“The recruitment of such a major player in the commercial property market demonstrates that we are an attractive prospect for businesses to promote their brand, entertain their clients and build links with other businesses at our 1870 Business Club events.”

Innes England director Gary Woodward said: “We are delighted to become the latest of many businesses to join Cricket Derbyshire.

“The cricket club is a very important part of the local community and it has done a lot in terms of raising the profile of Derbyshire in recent years on the national stage.’

“We want to be part of their successes and also of the club’s future ambitions, which is why we were particularly keen to invest in community programmes to benefit young players across the county.”
