HOLBROOK Sports continued their pre-season build-up by recording a resounding victory over former EvoStik side Glapwell FC at the O-Kra Ground.

The north Derbyshire club thankfully stepped in when Friar Lane and Epworth resigned from the Midland Football Alliance leaving Holbrook with a free fixture.

The hosts took a 3-0 half-time lead thanks to two goals from new signing Ryan Baker and one from Chris King.

With many changes in the second half, the goal glut slowed down with only Holbrook stalwart Vaughn Hallsworth adding to the scoresheet.

Scott Whittingham again kept a clean sheet in what was his best performance for the first team so far.
