Alfreton CC suffered a heavy defeat on Saturday at the hands of defending Derbyshire Premier League champions Swarksestone.
Batting first, Swarkestone were able to declare after 44 overs, having reached the commanding score of 331-3.
Former Derbyshire player Jake Needham was the star of the show with the bat, scoring 125 at the top of the innings off just 100 balls, a highly attacking knock that featured 21 fours and two sixes.
He and fellow opener Chris Durham (72) put on 183 for the first wicket.
Harry White (65 not out) and Garry Park (45) then got to work, piling on the problems for the Alfreton bowlers.
Anthony Mosca took two wickets but for a number of Alfreton bowlers, it is not a game they will look back on with any particular fondness.
Alfreton were then dismissed for 131 in 25 overs to lose by exactly 200 runs.
Although the top five all got into double figures, no-one was able to go on to the big score that was needed. The top scorer was Tom Bentley with 40.
Ben Winfield took 5-33 for Swarkestone.
