A TEAM from Heanor Clarion Cycling Club won last weekend's Plan B Racing - 2 Jours De Pain stage race.
Racing three stages over two days Keith Haddon took overall second place and Rob Parkin sixth.

In Saturday's second stage, a circuit race, Haddon took second place. Sunday's rather damp conditions saw the race take to the roads around Hanbury, Staffordshire where Haddon took third place and Parkin eighth.

With the time trial season now well underway Simon Parkin is leading the Heanor 8.5 series on 100 points with a recent 18:12.

The summer cyclo-cross season will commence Thursday, May 15, 7pm, with event HQ at Shipley Hall Cricket Club.

See the club website (www.heanorclarion.org.uk) for details.
