SIXTEEN year old Tara Cheetham from Ripley has been selected to represent England Under-18s in a Test Match against Scotland in Carlisle in September.
Tara successfully came through recent trials at Royal Leamington Spa in Warwickshire, and she will be playing in the triples and the fours.

She has also qualified to represent Derbyshire Under-25s Ladies in the singles and pairs with team mate Helen Mason at Leamington.

Tara is also part of the Derbyshire Ladies team who will be playing in the national competition, the Amy Rose Bowl, for under-31s at Leamington in early August.

And, along with her brother Craig, the pair are part of the Derbyshire English Bowling Federation team who will be defending their national under-25s title against Suffolk in August in Skegness.

Derbyshire beat Northumberland 14-0 away and Nottinghamshire 12-2 at home to reach the national final.

Tara and Craig are members of the Stute Bowls Club at Ilkeston and have been bowling since the age of six.
