BATSMAN Rory Hanson proved a very big hit last Friday when he smashed six sixes in one over.
Rory, who was only 11 on May 11 this year, achieved the phenomenal feat playing for Butterley United CC Under-11s against Teversal in a Kwik Cricket tournament at Goose Lane, Codnor.

He saved the best until last as he despatched six successive shots over the boundary in the very last over of the eight-a-side game.

His exploits were ably supported by partner Sam Taylor and the pair took the score from 144 to 191 in the last two overs.

Rory, from Langley Mill, also keeps wicket for Butterley United CC Under-13s in a hard ball league.
