SIX weeks of inactivity showed early on with some scrappy play from both sides.

Heanor made the breakthrough with a goal from Evan Morley, well set up by James Pounder.

The home side began to find their feet after this, stringing passes together and Morley got his second with a well driven shot after good build up play.

The visitors were denied a reply when Jacob Sheils produced a superb save in the Heanor goal.

Stanton attacked again and scored their first goal with Heanor's defence unable to clear the ball.

The hosts replied instantly with Ryan Seale hitting a sweet left foot shot into the roof of the net from outside the area. Heanor began to motor and they added a fourth when Keiran Brunelleschi slotted home after good control from George Bloor and a perfectly-weighted pass.

Heanor added another just into the second half when Brunelleschi got down the right, cut inside and hit a cracking shot from outside the box which easily beat the keeper.

As Heanor played more as a unit, George Bloor continued to dominate midfield.
