Loscoe Dynamo 6
Cotmanhay 2

IN their first league game since November 21, Dynamo picked up the points from a cracking game.

bottom-of-the-table Cotmanhay opened the scoring early, but Dynamo equalised shortly afterwards with a close range shot.

The home sid
e took the lead after 20 minutes following a penalty area scramble.

Not to be denied, Cotmanhay fought back and caught the Dynamo defence napping to equalise.

Dynamo settled down to play some great football, with Tom Moody and Jimmy Wallis tight at the back and D Turner, Hollingsworth and Abbott causing the visitors defence lots of trouble.

Rowles and Dixon found plenty of room to work their magic.

Two goals before half-time gave Dynamo a well-deserved lead.

The second half was hectic as both sides battled away.

However, it was Dynamo who proved the better side and they added two more goals to complete a good day’s performance.

Dynamo’s goal scorers were P Abbott (2), K Weightman, Kev Rowles, A Dixon and M O’Donnell.

This Saturday Dynamo have another home game when second-from-bottom Derby Deaf visit Charles Hill.

Kick-off: 2.15pm.
