CODNOR gymnast Caitlin Roberts, 8, returned from the Level 4 British Championships in Birmingham with a deserved third place.
The Ripley Junior School student competed well in bars, beam, floor, vault and range and conditioning to finish third out of 51 contestants.

She also won a gold medal in the team event as the East Midlands emerged triumphant.

She is a member of Notts Gym Club in West Bridgford and has been a gymnast for over three years, currently training five times a week between 24 and 27 hours.

Caitlin will now take part in the second part of the championships in Guildford, Surrey in November.
