Wingfield fly the flag
SOUTH WINGFIELD carried the League flag through to the next round of the Derbyshire Junior Sunday Cup by beating Chesterfield Sunday League side CRISPIN 3-2 away.
Longstaff and Rowe scored for Crispin.
Colin Haggerty, Wayne Hope and Gavin Else scor
ed for SOUTH WINGFIELD who even had the luxury of missing a penalty in the closing minutes.
Only one match was played in Division One with MINERS ARMS securing a 4-1 home win over ILFORD CLUB.
Steve Mogford gave Miners the lead with a first minute penalty which was the score at half time. Adam Puttock added the second, Mark Smith scrambled home the third from a corner, before Chris Pilkington pulled one back for Ilford.
David Smith scored the fourth Miners goal.
In Division Two LANGLEY MILL went to the top of the division with a 6-1 away win over MEMORY LANE.
Lee Barnes scored for Lane, while Craig Charity scored a hat-trick,and Andy Haslam, Darren Charlton and Matt Reeve scored one each for the Millers.
ILSON ATHLETIC consolidated their third place with a 4-3 away win over OUT OF TOWN.
Adrian Jackson (2) and Mick Hollis (1) scored for Town, Robert Gilbert, Mick Stevenson, Paul Whitby and Danny Millership scored for Ilson.
ALFRETON VICTORIA and SWANWICK CROSS KEYS shared the points in a 1-1 draw., Johnny Martin the Vics scorer.
In Division Three PINXTON JUNIORS strengthened their grip at the top when they cruised to a 7-0 home victory over SMALLEY VILLA.
Wayne Bacon hit a hat-trick, Ben Bacon, Darren Bettison, Scott Goody and Lee Griffin (penalty) were the Pinxton scorers.
WHITE LION PACS had a 4-2 home win over LEABROOKS CORNER.
Rob Whittingham (hat-trick), and Darren Sheppard scored for Lion, Drew Moseley got both goals for Leabrooks.
In the South Normanton 'derby' game, Villa came out on top against Wanderers who went down 8-1 at home.
Tim Cox (hat-trick), Rob Deakin (2), Alex Pawlitta, Mark Pursglove and Paul North scored for Villa, while Richard Miller (penalty) scored for Wanderers.
LOSCOE ATHLETIC continued their improved form with a 3-1 away win over RIPLEY WHITE LION.
Gary Needham scored for Lion, Pete Kenmuir (2) and Lee Housley netted for Loscoe.
