PLAY equipment in Horsley Woodhouse is to be replaced on a phased basis.
Horsley Woodhouse Parish Council said the replacement would have to be a phased one because of the high cost of such equipment.
It said in the latest edition of the Wudhus News that the current equipment at the Sitwell Memorial Recreation Ground, off Main Street, would need replacing shortly.
It also noted that it was pleasing that work had begun on building news homes the site of Hollies Farm also off Main Street.
Monies from a planning agreement secured as part of the scheme once completed would go to pay for play equipment and would therefore mean items could be replaced sooner.
The old farmhouse there was demolished to make way for new houses.
