Village is all set for 37th annual carnival

This year’s annual village carnival in Horsley Woodhouse takes place on Saturday, July 20.

Run by the Horsley Woodhouse Community Association, there will be a procession through the village starting at 1pm to the Sitwell Recreation Ground. There is a £1 entry fee for adults with a ‘lucky’ programme on entry.

This is the carnivals’ 37th year and features a Craft Tent, Pony Rides, children’s games, a Tug of War contest, Heage Brass Band, the Fun Dog Show, run by the Neighbourhood Watch Association and Derby County mascot Rammie.
