A man has been charged after allegedly taking a van while the driver was delivering a parcel to a South Normanton home.
The delivery driver left the keys in the ignition of his vehicle while dropping off an item at a house on Bunting Bank Close.
When he returned the van had gone. Police spotted the vehicle on the M1 northbound and apprehended the driver close to junction 30. A 23-year-old male from Doncaster was charged with driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
The back of the vehicle was reportedly open when it was being driven away cvausing a number of parcels to fall out. - many are yet to be found.
