A DRIVER had to be cut out of their car when it collided with another vehicle near in Codnor on Thursday morning .
The driver of a Citroen Zara was taken to Kings Mill Hospital in Nottingham following the incident at Alfreton Road near the industrial estate at around 9am.
The road was closed for an hour-and-a-half while Alfreton and Ripley fire crews removed the passenger from the vehicle.
They are not thought to be seriously injured.
The driver of a second car involved, a Hungarian registered blue Dacia Logan, was reported to police for driving without due care and attention.
