Workers at Denby Pottery have staged three more days of industrial action in an ongoing dispute over pay.

Factory workers took part in the walk-outs at the firm’s Derby Road headquarters on August 14, 20 and 21. The staff, along with staff at Burleigh Pottery in Stoke, both part of Denby Holdings, are taking part in the action because they claim they have been offered little or in some cases no pay rise for five years, despite being asked to hit strict targets.

Harry Hockaday, of the Unity union, said: “The strength of feeling is as strong as it was on the first day we took the ballot.”
