A man and woman are being hunted by police after stealing a number of medical creams from a pharmacy in Derbyshire.

The couple entered Lloyds Pharmacy on Main Road, Hathersage, and began looking around the store.

But once they left the store, the shop assistant noticed that part of a shelf was empty and a number of pharmacy creams had been taken.

The man was described as being in his late 30s, with short brown hair, a ‘bushy’ beard and wearing a dark green coat.

The woman was also described as being in her late 30s, with her dark blonde hair being worn up in a ponytail.

They were believed to have the store in the direction of Sheffield Road.

Officers investigating the incident are appealing to witnesses who may have seen a man and woman matching that description in the area, at around 4pm on Friday, January 22.
