The News is coming to you

Ripley and Heanor News reporters’ surgeries are soon to be up and running in the two towns.

Last week The News moved to new offices at 8 Heanor Road, Ilkeston - but we have managed to secure venues in Ripley and Heanor for you to come and share your stories with our news team.

Reporters will soon be based at the Ripley Town Council offices at the town hall on Market Place - and at Salcare at Ray Street, Heanor on a Thursday and a Friday respectively.

If you have an upcoming event you want to publicise, a gripe with the authorities, or if there is a burning issue you need to tell us about –we will be just as accessible as ever.

The times and dates of the surgeries will be announced next week.

You can still contact the news team at 0115 9446160 - or pop into the offices here in
Ilkeston.

For your advertising needs – small ads, family notices, and even news items - we now have a free Community Postbox at the Save n’ Save newsagents, High Street, Ripley, opposite the Qube club. Just drop them off.

News editor Julie Crouch said: “We are hoping this move will see our news team right at the heart of our communities in Ripley and Heanor.”
