A BRAVE teen is preparing herself for a sponsored sky dive in memory of her mum.
Hannah Scott will be taking the plunge on March 31 in order to raise money and awareness for charities Mind and Save The Children.
The 16-year-old, who lives with her father in Matlock, decided to undertake the daredevil scheme after losing her mother, Lynda, two years ago following a long battle with severe depression.
Hannah, who attends Highfields School, originally decided to set herself a target of £300, but the overwhelming support she received from family and friends made her increase her target to £2,000.
She has so far raised in excess of £1,000.
Anyone wishing to help her towards her target can make a donation by visiting www.justgiving.com/Hannah-Scott22.
