Rock music lovers will be dusting off those flared trousers at Marehay Miners’ Welfare as three top acts get together for a charity event in aid of Breast Cancer UK.
Ripley act Glamatize are set to top the bill, playing hits the songs of 70s hit makers such as Sweet, Slade, T-Rex and David Bowie.
They will be backed by Riddings trio Junction and Ripley band Headshrinker both set to play an array of covers of songs throughout the ages.
The event, organised by dad-of-four Gary McKenna, 51, of Havelock Street, Ripley, is set for Saturday, September 14, from 6pm at the welfare on Derby Road.Camping will be available. and there will be a raffle also
