Royal fever swept through Horsley Woodhouse Primary School as pupils held a street party in honour of William and Kate’s marriage on Friday.
Children took part in a day of traditional activities and competitions, with all the village invited.
And the youngsters came to school, dressed as if they had been invited to the royal reception at Buckingham Palace.
Prizes were handed out for the best outfit on the day as 100 children and parents packed into the small school hall. Other prizes were awarded in a cake bake decorating competition, a photography contest and for best flower arrangement.
Pupil, 11-year-old Ruby French, from the village, said: “I really enjoyed the competitions. I think the royal wedding looks as if it’s going to be a great day!”
