HEANOR and Loscoe Safer Neighbourhood Team is holding a spring clean event for charity tomorrow.
The event will take place on Friday, April 8, in and around Heanor Market Place from 10am to 3.30pm.
There will be a variety of stalls with information from a number of agencies, including The Red Cross, Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service and Amber Valley Borough Council.
The majority of local schools in the area will be taking part in a sponsored litter pick.
Students will wear high visibility vests and be issued with litter pickers and they will be accompanied by members from Amber Valley Borough Council.
The event has been arranged to raise money for two charities, these are Help for Heroes and The Army Benevolent Fund.
