Shoebox Christmas

Christmas Fair at Swanwick Methodist Church held last Saturday we raised �466.37. This will be used towards a project updating the kitchen that is being used for our monthly luncheon club serving meals to the elderly folk of the village. '''2. Christians Together in Swanwick comprising of the three Churches in the village met for Caf� Style worship on Tuesday 22nd November and were pleased to be able to send 241 shoeboxes for the Samaritan's Purse Appeal. These gift wrapped boxes full of presents go to children in Romania, other European and African Countries. Swanwick Brownies and the WI were also involved in preparing boxes. (Please see the photo attached. Katie Archer is the young girl, and her Mum, Mrs Jane Archer, has given permission for the picture to be used. )
