The High Sherriff of Derbyshire, David Coleman, visited Riddings Infant and Nursery School to congratulate them on achieving Modeshift Sustainable Travel Accreditation and Recognition for Schools (STARS) Bronze award. The school has worked closely with Derbyshire County Council’s Travel Smart team to encourage parents to leave the car at home so children can make active, safe and environmentally friendly journeys to school.
