Nominations are being sought for young people to run for a place on the Derbyshire Youth Council.
Derbyshire County Council is looking for 57 young folk aged between 11 and 17 to stand in an upcoming election.
Cabinet member for children and young people Cllr Damien Greenhalgh said: “Our fantastic youth councillors get to make decisions about services designed for them whilst gaining skills and experiences.”
Youth councillors hold a two year ‘term of office’ and attend around six conferences a year in Matlock or Chesterfield.
