Rotary rolls out fun weekend at railway

The Rotary Club of Ripley is set to hold their annual Disabled Weekend at the Midland Railway - Butterley this weekend.

The event is free for disabled people and half price at £5.50 for their carers.

The visit includes free entrance to the Railway Museum, steam and diesel train rides, the model railway, the West End Experience, shops and other attractions.

The Golden Valley Light Railway Ride is an additional cost, and there is also food available in the buffets.

The two-day event is disabled-friendly with Rotarians on hand for any assistance that may be needed.

The first train leaves Butterley Station at 11am on both days.

Groups, clubs and all members of the public are welcome.
