Organisers of a charity rock night in Marlpool hand over a cheque for £1,200 to the charity PASIC, which helps seriously ill children across the country.

The sixth H-Stock was held on Friday, November 23 at Shipley Working Men’s Club and saw acts Crisis Ritchie Blount, Generation Freak, Broken City Saints and Fahran take to the stage to raise cash for cause. Chief organiser Andy Whitt, formally of Heanor but now living in Derby, set the event up in 2006 as a way of saying thanks to the charity after it helped care for their nine month old daughter Molly when she had a kidney tumour. H-stock has now raised more than £8,000 since it started.
