Hundreds of excited Langley Mill residents flocked to the town’s Christmas street festival.
Cromford Road was closed off to traffic as festival-goers took to the streets to sample festive treats.
The event held on Saturday, December 6, kicked off at 4pm with performances from two local bands Black Kats and Magpies.
The community party also hosted a hog roast, facepainting and craft stalls selling Christmas gifts.
Children were also spoilt for choice with a mini fairground and toy stalls.
Local shops including deli Basilia stayed open as a nod to the borough’s small business Saturday campaign to boost local trade.
Resident Chris Mansfield said: “It was a great day, more events like this need to happen in the town.”
Neighbour Amanda Burns added: “What a great event. Let’s do it all again next year.”
