Rangers wanted

A RIPLEY FOOTBALL club is due to host a stall at the forthcoming Marehay show on September 3 to attract new players to the squad.

The Ripley Rangers stall is set to feature a penalty shoot-out competition with prizes on offer.

A spokesperson for the club said: “It’s an opportunity for children and adults to have some fun and an opportunity for them to meet key members involved in the club.”

The club is looking for youngsters to add to the core of players in its under sevens and under nines age groups for the new season. Training for the under sevens takes place on Mill Hill School playing field on Saturday Mornings, from 10.30am until 11.30am. Training for under nines is on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 7pm.

All coaches are of FA level one standard and are CRB checked.
