A popular women’s choir is set to take over the famous painted hall at Chatsworth House for a night of song in aid of the Derbyshire, Nottighamshire,Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.
The Sonara Singers, which meet at the Postmill Centre in South Normanton, gained permission from the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire for the performance set for Saturday, July 6, at 7pm. Musical director of the singers, Liz Moulder of Waingroves, said: “We are honoured to be singing in such a prestigious setting and supporting such a wonderful charity.”

Guests will arrive at Chatsworth to a wine and canopy reception followed by Sonara Singers who will perform a range of songs from 16th century madrigals to Adele.
