A Pinxton man spent the weekend in custody after causing problems at a pub in the village.
Lorry driver Daniel Hainsworth, 26, of Wharf Road, was refused service at the Sun Inn, in Town Street, on Saturday because the licensee believed he was listed on Pubwatch, a scheme designed to prevent trouble on licensed premises.
He ended up smashing a glass outside, magistrates heard. He was also subject to a bail condition preventing him from entering Town Street due to a trial he faces in August. He admitted using threatening behaviour and breaching bail. He was fined £115, with £85 costs, and given bail on condition he did not contact trial witnesses.
