Police appeal after Alfreton assault

Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Alfreton.

On Saturday, January 24 between midnight and 1am a man was walking from High Street onto Rogers Lane when a dispute took place with two men in a car.

The driver of the car got out and punched the man in the face. The passenger then got out and also punched the man.

The man suffered a fractured cheek bone, cuts and bruises and damaged teeth. The men were in a small dark coloured car.
