AROUND 550 students from Mill Hill School have taken part in a sponsored fitness challenge to raise vital funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Together they walked, ran or skipped their way around the school’s 400 metre athletics track a staggering 3,534 times – covering the equivalent of 1,414 kms. Sports co-ordinator Rob Lund said: “We researched how far previous Olympic destinations are from Ripley and set targets – like 536kms to Paris. They got further than Stockholm!”
Sponsorship money is still being counted for the BHF.
