Three homes at a select new development in Bolsover have been reserved within days of going on the market.
Builder Kier Partnership Homes formally opened the Millrise site only this month and immediately nearly a quarter of the 13 properties were snapped up.
Millrise offers a range of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.
Two of the three-bedroom and one of the two-bedroom properties have been reserved already.
Prices on the development range from £121,995 to £162,2995 but with through FirstBuy, the Government backed scheme designed to help people get a foot on the property ladder, home ownership is possible at Millrise from only £97,596.
“We had quite a bit of local interest before we released any properties.
“People who had been waiting went along to the official opening and reserved straight away,” said marketing agent Ian Clarke.
Two of the houses on the development have been finished, six have their roofs on and the others are at varying stages of completion.
Millrise is located off Quarry Lane, just to the north of Bolsover town centre.
It is situated six miles from Chesterfield, eight from Mansfield and 11 from Worksop and provides easy access to the M1 motorway.
The guest of honour at the formal launch of the development was Cllr Keith Bowman, of Bolsover District Council, who was aided in cutting a ribbon by Alan Jeffrey, a volunteer from Kier Partnership Home’s nominated charity Help for Heroes.
