MOST major roads in the area were clear today after the weekend snowfall.

There were warnings to be careful though, as there were some patches of black ice, with drivers urged to allow extra time for their journeys, especially when using minor roads.

Weather experts have said today will be overcast with widespread mist and low cloud. There would also be some areas of fog across Derbyshire. There was also the chance of outbreaks of light rain or sleet.

Tonight there were due to be a few light sleet or snow showers, but generally it would remain dry, with mist. Again there would be fog in many areas.

If you have taken pictures of the snow then send them to us. We would love to see them.
