A series of surgeries when residents can discuss any issues they may have with their borough councillors have been organised for next month.
On Saturday, July 7, in Somercotes people can meet their councillors from 11am to noon at Somercotes Parish Hall.
Then councillors John McCabe and Brian Lyttle will on hand to talk about matters concerning Amber Valley Borough Council with people.
On Saturday, July 14, in Ironville and Riddings, Cllr Paul Smith will be holding a members’ surgery at the Riddings Park Community Centre, Church Street, from 10am until 11am. He will then move on to the OAP Centre, Victoria Crescent, Ironville, for another surgery from 11.15am to 12.15pm.
Then in Codnor and Waingroves, residents will have the opportunity to meet their local councillors at a surgery event on Saturday, July 21, from 10am until 11am at Waingroves Community Centre, Church Street, Waingroves.
Ward councillors Chris Emmas-Williams and George Parkes will be at the community centre when they will meet and talk with locals on any issues they have that they can help with, said a spokesman.
