A man whose body was found in the grounds of Chesterfield College earlier this week is to be formally identified later today.
Police were called to the Infirmary Road site at about 6pm on Tuesday after receiving reports of a “sudden death”.
A member of college staff found the body.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
The man is believed to be 45 and from Staveley.
Stuart Cutforth, principal at Chesterfield College, said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this traumatic time.”
