Man assaulted and robbed in Codnor

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted and robbed in Codnor.

On Friday, April 29 at 10pm a 19-year-old man was assaulted by two men at the side of Tesco Express on High Street who then stole his money.

The man was punched in the face and knocked to the ground.

The two men were described as white, aged 17-19 years old. One was of a medium build with short dark hair and was wearing a grey hooded top which was red inside with the hood worn up. The other was of a slim build, black short hair and was wearing a grey hooded top and grey bottoms.

A woman saw the man on the floor and asked him if he was ok. Police would like to speak to this woman.
