Man admits attacking people in Heanor town centre

A man has pleaded guilty to 14 charges after a number of incidents in Heanor.

Ross Greenwood, of Derby Road, Heanor, carried out a number of attacks on members of the public in the town centre on Sunday, October 23.

The 27-year-old appeared at Derby magistrates' court yesterday and pleaded guilty to 14 charges.

These included grievous bodily harm, common assault, actual bodily harm, theft, criminal damage, sexual exposure and resisting an arrest.

A number of people required hospital treatment following the attacks, including a 76-year-old man.

Greenwood is due to be sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Wednesday, January 4.
